Le Temps Moderne (modern time) is based on a systematic approach: hand-held shooting at relatively long exposure (1/8 to 1/2s).
The objective is to oppose different relationships with time by opposing frozen characters to moving ones. The idea of "modern" time is that the photo could not have been taken 30, 40 or 50 years ago because one of the two "times "is linked to a modern object or recent activity / practice.
